Emily Wetherholt received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy. Dr. Wetherholt started her pharmacy career in community pharmacy, working as a technician and pharmacist for over 20 years. She is currently an Experiential Education Site Specialist for Midwestern University CPDG. She has completed certificate training in immunization, travel health, patient-centered diabetes care, medication therapy management, and cardiovascular disease risk management. In 2016, Dr. Wetherholt received her certification as a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist. She is active in the Illinois Pharmacists Association, where she currently serves as Region 2 Director and Editor of the Illinois Pharmacist Online.
